The Senate considered President Biden’s nomination of Radhika Fox to serve as assistant administrator for water at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). EPA’s Office of Water is charged with protecting our nation’s streams, lakes, and rivers, all of which are vital to a healthy environment and resilient communities. As a nonprofit professional, Fox worked with a diverse array of water stakeholder groups, forging trust and partnership despite conflicting viewpoints. Her experience developing inclusive solutions to our country’s water challenges will help deliver clean, safe and affordable water for all. On June 16, the Senate confirmed Fox to be EPA assistant administrator for the Office of Water by a vote of 55-43 (Senate roll call vote 236). YES IS THE PRO-ENVIRONMENT VOTE.
