2022 Scorecard Vote
Representative Bonamici sponsored En Bloc Amendment 160 to H.R. 4521, the America COMPETES Act of 2022 which included a number of provisions to strike underlying portions of the bill related to the Green Climate Fund, the Global Climate Change Resilience Strategy and Climate Resilience Development. It also included a provision that would transfer funding away from the solar component manufacturing supply chain assistance program. The amendment would attack portions of the underlying bill that are critical to advancing the clean energy transition, meeting our global climate finance commitments, and doing our fair share to support developing countries’ efforts to mitigate the impacts of climate change. On February 3, 2022 the House rejected Amendment 160 by a vote of (House roll call vote 20). NO IS THE PRO-ENVIRONMENT VOTE.
